Meet Woman Behind The Business...

Mary Khamis-Rowe is the proprietor of Khamis Fine Jewelers.  In November 1995, she fulfilled her dream to share her passion for jewelry by opening the doors of our store.

How She Started

She has been in the jewelry industry for over 40 years, buying, selling, and appraising fine jewelry, loose diamonds, and gemstones.  She has also worked for large companies and small, independently owned jewelry stores.

Her Educational Background

Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana
University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).  She is also a
Graduate Gemologist (GG).

  • Former Certified Appraiser of Personal Property (CAPP)
  • Former President of ISA’s Indiana Chapter
  • Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA)
  • President of the Indiana Jewelers Association

Giving Back Through Sponsorships

Over the years, we have sponsored multiple little league teams and Lawrence Township Basketball League (LTBBL) teams.  Our owner is also a supporter and sponsor of the Conquer Paralysis Now, A Global Project of The Sam Schmidt Foundation.

We helped raise over a million dollars for their annual gala in May.

Khamis Fine Jewelers is the Official Jeweler for the 500 Festival Princess Program.  We provide all 33 Princesses with exclusive and custom-designed commemorative pendants.

We are also the official Jeweler for the Indiana State Fair Queen’s Program, providing the Queen’s ring.
